Why independent facts
A claim decision deserves a complete record.
Some claims are exactly what they appear to be. Some are not. Counsel sees both every week, and the difference cannot be assumed or argued. It has to be documented, lawfully and verifiably.
Our role is to convert questions into record. We work as an extension of the legal team: scoped with counsel, reporting to counsel, producing work product that fits directly into the case file. When retained through counsel, our file is prepared under attorney work-product discipline from day one.
The result is clarity. A verified record lets counsel resolve claims on the merits: contest what the facts contradict, resolve what they support, and defend every decision afterward.
Timing decides how complete the record can be. The most common mistake we see is the late call: an investigator brought in after mediation stalls, when the CCTV is overwritten, witnesses have scattered, and the observation window has closed. The firms that get the most from APB refer at the first open question. Early referral preserves evidence that cannot be recovered later.
